Super Flight Planner is known to generate realistic enough flight plans to comfortably flying your ATC plans. However it lacks a feature to display flight plan path without arc curves to compensate for the transition from a waypoint to another. Generally you don't bother display a smooth arc when you are at FL410. But, what if you have to do a smooth turn while descending to an approach?

Super Flight Planner 4, Release Candidate 2 is now available for Download. Here is the changes list: - Added: Super Flight Planner is now able to scan, decode and display Control Centers from Flight Simulator BGL Files. Coding to add other boundaries support is also in progress.
- Fixed: SFP Exported Flight Plans didn't display VOR and NDB frequencies when loaded into FSX. (YQTFun).
- Fixed: further increasing of FSUIPC link reliability. I believe I have now eliminated almost all bugs. You must bear with me here because SFP uses multithreading to link to FS: implementing IPC Link process in a separated thread implies right usage of semaphoring techniques to avoid two processes to access a common memory area at the same time
Super Flight Planner 4 RC2 will be released tomorrow. The control center display feature is now finished and operational. I just wanted to finish the pilot logbook, as well, but I'm going to Thailand next Monday and I'll stay there for ten days, therefore I have to leave this baby in progress: I just wanted to leave you with something to play with, meanwhile. Today in the afternoon I'll read new forum request and try to fix what needs to be fixed. If you have something else to report, use the forum, please!

Thanks,
Alex
I have right now finished to implement a new feature available with next Super Flight Planner release: control centers. They are automatically decoded from Flight Simulator BGL files and displayed on the Moving Map. Click here if you wanna see a screen-shot. Right now, the most difficult part is over (decoding and display). It's a raw implementation at the moment but it's fully working: I only have to make it sexy.
Stay tuned...
According to a number of PM I have received, Super Flight Planner OB4 seem stable enough to go for a Release Candidate. There are a few new features I have started to work on meantime: - Scanning, decoding, extracting and displaying control centers.
- Pilot Logbook.
- Documents and help system (finally).
Dunno when they will be available but they will. I'm going to Thailand next month and I will be unable to keep on the project for a few time, however I'll be able to write some kind of DOC. Happy flight...
